One of the greatest gifts we have been given is the ability to communicate and visual communication can be enormously powerful. Since great power resides in visual communication there must be great responsibility in crafting it. It's not as easy as it might first appear. So I don't believe it's over stating the fact to say that visual communication must convey not just a message, but a specific one and in a beautiful and well crafted way. Listening, being open, and understanding the essence of the message and taking great responsibility in craftsmanship is what I bring to illustration.
